Midwest meet 2012-June 6th in Omaha

Ok guys wife wants to go see the inlaws next may woot woot(rolls eyes) thinking if we can get enough people to have a midwest meet in like souix falls sd or maybe kansas city ks on our way to tulsa or something who would be down

I would be down for a KS meet. I'm in Omaha Nebraska but would drive as far as Kansas city. That is about three hour drive. Anything farther and it might be out of the question. Pretty sure with enough convincing we could get Neon Parabola to come. Ask jbwunderlich and jerome adams as well. I want to get a meet together this spring and Kansas City works for me.

Please pick dates ASAP as I need to request time off in advance. My employer got bought out by a national company so now I have about three times the number of coworkers to compete with when it comes to time off requests.

Sioux Falls is too far away for me to make it. I like the idea of meeting in Kansas City, KS- I could drop by the KC, MO Harley-Davidson plant for a tour while I'm in the area.

So what is the actual meet date and where will we meet up? I was all set to ask for time off after work tonight and then I read your post. Two of my co-workers got the days around the 2nd off while I was on the road tonight and the days are filling up quickly so please firm this up ASAP! Thanks.

Ok I will set the day as the 6th of June... so now people I need some help on where we will meet and all that not too sure on place to do it down there.

Hmmm... I hadn't thought of taking a week off to meet on a Wednesday (June 6th is a Wednesday) as these things usually happen on the weekends.

I turned in a time off reqest for the whole week before I left work tonight. Two co-workers already have that week off so I can't promise anything. I'll keep you posted.

Brother I am down. I would make the Sean join us. (sorry Sean, I'm gonna have to talk to Sarah about this, lol) The way I see it is it's only 4-5 hours of drive time total, there and back. So, if we get together for a couple of hours and grab some grub, this a one day event, We can make that happen, can't we?
