(Speed127) updated tease of the interior

Well the time has come to start another project log and abandon the old one. As of Sat the 14th (tomorrow) I will no longer have Big Red

It will be going to a friend who I've converted over to neons

and in it's place will be Frankenstein, Skip's old car, a 03 neon with SRT4 swap. I picked up the car from the shippers yesterday and after driving 20ft or so lost all the gears. I am thinking that one of the axels was broke in shipping but as of yet I'm not sure. I have LOTS of plans for the car and will continue to update this as I go along. below are a few shots of the car skip sent me.

/\ LOL I basically straight up traded cars. Sold mine for most of what I payed for the new one. So it needs some......, ok, LOTS of love in the body department but the mileage was real good for the price, only 76K, and I went up like 100 whp

it's all hush hush. Actually I'm gona go for more of a clean, classy style instead of what everyone does making it a racer. I have ALOT of parts just laying in the garage just waiting to be installed and as I do I'll update with pics

So also, WHY the hell did you go from you super nice custom car to a car that you will most likely have to hold it's hand for the rest of it's struggle of a life? Whew. Good luck man, driving it off the boat and losing all gears alone would make me nervous.

Good luck for real man, but you really should have traded hoods with me before trading him your nice car.

I've always kinda liked Frankenstein. Check your shift selector, that's a possibility for loss of all gears. Best of luck with it, I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Tim I have a pair of srt axles then if u need. And urriah he didn't trade his red car for this. He sold it and the cash from that car bought this. He repaints all of his cars so this one is no biggie for him. I heard he has a really nice interior for this car and some other lil special things. Tim is this doesn't have an exhaust I have. That mopar borla sitting here and those minty stones. Lol

found the problem with the trans. in shipping somehow it popped off the pass side axle and the spring clip that holds it onto the middle shaft was crushed. new clip and then just popped back on the axle... all the splines looked good so problem fixed. Pics later

Stupid low? My side skirts were 3" off the ground with the coilovers. But I'm confused, I still see your car there with the newbie.

Any info slipping through on what color you're going for? Snakeskin Green? GTS Blue? Viper Bright Orange?

ya wasn't gona sell the car until I swapped stuff over. It'll be gone by Mon. And as far as color, I saw a BMW M3 color I like. It's med-dark blue. Lots of metallic but I really am not going to know a color until I pick one out at the shop. Only then will we know.

I have done my own in the past but one of MAACO's main paint shops is 10min from me, so I take it there and it always comes out GREAT.

car started out a red sxt and then a rear-ended blue SRT4 was striped and all wiring, engine and some body parts were put on the red sxt. Lastly, since the blue car was rear-ended and the body parts were smashed a black trunk and bumper were found and put on.

Well tonight in the 30 degree weather I started putting in the new interior. Full BUX interior including front and rear seats, door panels, center leather armrest and Chrysler steering wheel.

Pics below showing the difference between the rear seats.

I need help deciding on a color. I like both so let me know your thoughts.
