I got a good look at NAIAS and if I were looking for another car I'd consider it. I didn't get to sit in since they were all locked but just peering through the window the interior looked quite impressive. They had a stand setup to play around with the dash display and such and it's pretty nice.

I wish there was more of a chin to the front bumper but I'm sure Mopar will release some sort of accessory for it like they did the lip kit for our cars. *fingers crossed*

Agree with you on the interior, no need for me to drool over a BUX Dart.

When were you in Detroit? I was at the show on the 16th- too bad that we couldn't have compared notes.

It's 10 posts down on the first page of the same subforum you posts in, and you couldn't find it?

Secondly, I very much doubt that it's what the final product will look like. Let's continue talking about the Dart here and you can continue the Viper Convo in the proper thread.

My first car was a Dodge Dart, and so far I am liking the new Dart. Do not know I will trade my Neon for one, but I am sure liking it. Will wait to see it in person before making any definite decision. I really love my "Neo".

If I remember correctly, the Caliber SRT-4 was supposed to be AWD to compete with the Subaru WRX (big FAIL on Daimler's part). AWD on the Dart SRT-4 would be a feather in Chrysler Group's cap.

Yeah but the whole Caliber was a fail. They didn't get the sales they wanted to so... my guess that is why it never got to AWD. my .02

The Caliber SRT-4 had more horsepower, but was slower than the Neon SRT-4. It was too tall, too heavy, and butt-ugly.
No wonder it was discontinued after two years of poor sales.

Not to get too off-topic here in the Dart thread but I seem to remember DCX's whole purpose in having a Caliber SRT-4 was for it to be AWD. When that was abandoned, the idea for an SRT version of the Caliber should have been dropped as well (heavier and slower than the Neon SRT-4 it was supposed to

well they did have an AWD caliturd, but it wasnt any good for a performance application thus never offered on the srt versions.

I think this just made my night! Travis Pastrana will be driving it too!
