Yesterday was Moparpalooza at Fair Oaks Motors in Chantilly VA. Sponsored by Modern Mopar, and one of the guests was none other than Ralph Gilles. This was a nice local show for us NOVA folks to attend. It kinda snuck up on me because I forgot it was this weekend

I also took next to no pictures, but many other fine people did, so I'll steal theirs

We had this one crazy chick taking a bunch of pictures. She drives a pink Neon too. What was her name...oh yeah, it was on her tag too!

Yes, our very own Crystalmarie came down for the event. To say we were surprised would be an understatement!

Thanks goes to Gina Charnley Knight and A.J. Morning for providing some of these pictures as well.

On to some of the Neon pics...

Jaun's car! It's been a year since this beast has seen the road.

To get the group shot, LSP had to have some assitance from her S.O....

There were more SRTs and one other turbo'd Neon there, but they left before the group pics were taken.

Ralph and his team brought some goodies with them as well.

You got both LilSparkPlug and Ralph Gilles to attend ... I'm impressed. I wish I could have seen the new Viper.
I still remember seeing the original Viper when it was introduced to New Orleans.
I was already an "old" Mopar fanatic in 1992-3.

I was hoping someone would post about this. SRT had it up on facebook a few hours ago. Looks like a great time; they said it was the first time the Viper was next to a neon. That's one heck of a privilege!

The pic of the new Viper and Lucius is the best. The more I see of the new Viper, the more outdated the Corvette looks.

Hell yes I have been waiting to get some of these pictures. And yea we have a very healthy neon/srt-4 scene in northern VA but besides lsp there was like 15 neons there but yet there was like 25 neon guys there, Some reason neons like to break right before a meet lol im just glad to finally have mine back on the road

None of that was not my doing. Crystal stayed and talked with the organizers well after I left. I was just a lowly participant at this one

I asked if I could take pictures next to it and they agreed! I caught it at just the right time because they were getting ready to load it up for transport. I have a bunch to go through I'm starting on them now. I'll do the Neons first, then the other cars afterwards and post up as I go.

AMAZING weekend, so awesome to meet all of you who were down there!

The owner of this black one is the former owner of the red one above that has a bigwheel S3. This car is also an S3 with a DCR motor.

Owner of this OB ACR worked for PVO which then turned SRT until 2006 and helped engineer the SRT-4 Neon:

I've seen 300 front ends on Magnums and Charger front ends on Magnums but I have yet to see a Magnum front end on a 300. I LOVE it!

To be honest I'm not usually a fan of this style wheel BUT...I LOVE them on this Charger it just looks so mean!

Just plain classy

Now those are some serious tires!

Love the new SRT8 and Love Rams....there wasn't much I didn't love at this show...

i'm sure there was some hard work that went into that PT but your car looks way better and cleaner than that crystal!

i absolutely love this shot, captures the rear/side body line better than a lot of the other pics i've seen thus far
