Looking forward to learning your knowledge and experiences to apply to my Neon. I recently lucked up on a 2001 Dodge Neon SE manual for $150.00 so now I have to bring it up to my standards. I've owned in the past two gen2 SHOs, a nicely tuned 350Z, Evo VIII, beastpowered 530i, G35 6spd MT and then came the divorce. This is my first car since that little hiccup and looking forward to making it a fun driver, I prefer handling to outright power. So if you have any ideals let me know. I'm originally from MI now I'm in Atlanta,GA

Welcome to 2gn

Building Neons to handle well is pretty simple. They take very well to suspension mods and can hang with faster cars in the corners with the right tuning and driver. They are very light for what they are, and have a solid independent suspension, both contribute largely to their ability to carve corners. Check out the FAQ section and just browse around the forum, you'll find lots of good info and can get an idea of what your options are, what others are doing, and what works and what doesn't. Good luck!
