As long as you get one bolt in, the rest will start.
If there isn't an alignment pin, it will be more of a PITA tho.
Yep, hated it on my Dasher(s). But it isn't as bad as it sounds.
Just weld them studs in.

On my Golf (if I remember correctly), there's a lip on the hub that you can place the wheel over, then just line up the holes. It's not like you had to suspend the wheel in mid air with one hand and thread the bolt in with the other. It's not as bad as it sounds, but I still don't like it. Worst part about the older VWs was that, since there were no studs to hold on to the brake rotor with the wheel off, there was a stupid screw that would rust in place and become a real bitch.
Furthermore, from an engineering standpoint, I still can't see any benefit from using them. The thread has the same tensile strength in stud or bolt form (providing they're made from the same alloy). If you break a wheel stud, the broken piece ends up in your hand with the lug nut. You throw it away, knock out the remaining piece, and draw a new stud through using a lug nut. If you break a wheel bolt, get ready for some fun.

This. It makes no good sense that I can tell to use bolts instead of studs. The techs will hate it.jonnymopar wrote:Furthermore, from an engineering standpoint, I still can't see any benefit from using them. If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

My dad just went to school for the Dart and the instructor explained to them that if you don't start the car for 3 weeks, when you go to start it... It won't start. Something with the oiling system on the car. So you don't start it dry you have to do some procedure several times before it will start. Imagine if the SRT-4 is the same. When people store them and do't know this they are going to be pissed off...
Also the CHMSL is LEDs and it's part of the headliner. If it goes bad, you have to replace the entire headliner.

Call me crazy but this looks just like a Neon (aside form the roof line).

Drove by my local dodge dealer today and they have the darts in stock. Might stop there tomorrow to get a real good look!

If you had to choose between these 3 cars: a) Chevrolet Volt b) Nissan Leaf c) Dodge Caliber, wouldn't you choose the Dodge with a "constant velocity transmission" ?Hudson_Neon wrote:more like a firing line where people can blow those POS's up!
