***UPDATED VIDEO TO SHOW THE CAR RUNS AND DRIVE AS OF 12/20/12***

http://youtu.be/YcYssc8PaJ0

I am selling my 2000 Plymouth neon that has been swapped with a fully built, big turbo, 2004 SRT-4 engine and transmission. I started building this car almost 10 years ago slowly adding to it. When I purchased the SRT-4 engine/tranny it had about 12,000 miles on it. The SRT that it came from was hit in the rear so there was no damage done to the engine. When I did the swap the a/c compressor didn't work, so I just pulled the a/c. I still have some a/c compenents if you wanted to put the a/c back in it. I decided to build the motor, and go big turbo when the engine had a little over 20,000 miles on it. Almost all internal engine components were bought from Darrell Cox Racing (I have receipts to show). The motor and tranny was then brought over to one of our previous srtforum vendors, Lujan motor sports, to do the build. After I put everything back together and got the car running again, I got side tracked from buying another car to be my daily driver, and never got around to completely finishing it. This engine is setup to run 500+ hp. Unfortunately, I never got to tune it to run high boost. I have been driving it around on 9psi, but with the turbo and engine setup it can run much higher when tuned. I don't really drive the car anymore, and only put about 5,000-7,000 miles on the engine after the build. So the engine has about 25,000 miles on it. The car itself has about 70,000 - 75,000 miles on it. Everything runs great still, and has always been garage kept. This car is clean inside and out! I am not willing to part anything out. The car is being sold AS IS. This is the perfect project car! Below is a list of current modifications along with some pictures:

 price is too high - :quotes: my two cents :quotes: ... a 2005 Dodge Neon SRT-4 with 35,000 miles is worth less than $10,000

That's why srt4's are sitting in car lots all over. Because the dealers are asking outragous prices for them.
Drove my neon until it was killed in a flood.

Sure you can get an Srt cheaper...with a stock motor, stock turbo, and 100k miles of a hard life.

If I had the money Id like to have this car. The only thing that kills me is the body kit but that was the shit back in the day.

Yes, the price is high and the body kit is a turn off but the car looks VERY clean and properly put together. Good luck!

Welcome back Brad.

To everyone else, if you aren't interested don't comment on the price.

I've said it time and time again, the right price is the price that the seller and the buyer agree on.

thanks frank, glad to still see some familar faces on here! Just so everyone knows my price is NOT firm. I am taking offers, and willing to work with the price if someone is truely interested in my car. I realize you can buy an srt for under 10k these days, but this engine has very low miles and is fully built/big turbo with quality parts. All you have to do is put it on the dyno, tune for high boost, and you are set to run 500hp. I never tuned it myself because i didn't really drive the car too much. I would just drive it around on 9psi, but the car runs great and sounds great! And only about 10k miles have been put on the engine since the build. I agree the car does need some updating. The kit was done back in the day when it was the thing to do. I've been meaning to give the car and update myself, but decided not to put anymore money into it since i was planning on selling it. I have a 2000 rear bumper that just needs painting, which i can throw in with the sale, if somone wanted to buy the car and update it themself.

^ Thanks guys. I'm still accepting offers. This car can make a great sleeper, and wont take much work to change out the bumpers to factory, if you wanted it to be more of a sleeper/updated. I have the factory rear and can include that in if wanted. This car pulls real hard and sounds MEAN at idle and WOT/9psi. I can't even imagine how it would be tuned at high boost. The car hasn't been pushed hard like that yet, and is just waiting for someone to tune it to its fullest potential. Everything is still pretty much brand new. I hardly drove it after I built it. I had plans to tune it and and now I need money to buy my wife a car, so thats why im selling it. Here's some more pics below of the engine and a bettr look of the paint on this car....

I like the car for sure. But if I were in the market, I doubt I would have over 6k for it. As much as it sucks, you almost always get more by parting it, dropping a stock motor in, and selling the car to a local that would rather look fast than be fast. You can tell there's lots of work into this thing, and even if it's not my style, gotta appreciate the attention to detail.

And then there is always the guy/gal that has the money, but not the time, possibly skills to to all that him/herself.

But in most cases, like Erick said.... Getting money back out of a car is never easy. The one thing you muust realize is you are doing it for yourself, so that is part of the expense of your toy, losing a chunk of change when you no longer want it in your toy box.

Unless you get lucky and find those above mentioned folks. :)

Best of luck sir.
