Why do the Europeans get all the good stuff!?! Would be sweet to have those, I agree. Is the switch below the stereo, and did it have the interior adjustable headlights also?

Sorry for reviving an old thread!
I discovered that these goodies exist today and also want them.
I found the actual mirror button for sale and a pair of power folding mirrors. However, I can't find the plastic molding that the button goes in (the armrest) for left-hand drive cars (for cars that drive on the right side of the road if that wasn't clear...).
Was this offered as an option in any left hand drive countries, or only UK/Australia?
Also, would I need a new wiring harness for this, both to the button and to the mirror itself?
Anybody ever do this?

No, I never found a LHD molding for them and these are as far as I know really only available for RHD neons.
You could use your original LHD molding without that switch and connect them to ignition+
Or put the switch somewhere into the dash.
I thought of searching for a non-mirror-switch-molding and install all switches to anywhere else than the door.
But never done that.
You would need to wire them up.
In the manual you find the wires.
IIRC it is just one or two wires.
The wiring to the mirrors themselves should be different (further blue instead of grey plugs).
So - IIRC - beware and look twice before connecting them.
You also need to swap the mirror glasses...
