roof rack stays! Well it doesnt really NEED to stay on all the time during the summer..
SRT hood would be nice, but not a priority.
I shall post pictures of my recent purchase this week.

I've seen the gap on lots of rt front bumpers, I don't think it looks bad at all. It looks worse on 03-05 bumpersredneckmoparman wrote:i vote no srt hood the gap is horrid with our bumpers although i want to modify one to close the gap

Btw I thought the SRT hood fit your bumper... I've seen it on em before with no gap
yeah they have a gap, but it's not really that noticeable with the way the bumper and grille are.

lots more available for the dohc, and cheaperNGCnoproblem wrote:Isn't much diff between a 16 valve sohc and a 16 valve dohc performance wise anyway. Maybe the stock heads flow different but if you built either one the only difference is where in the rpm you get power. Or at least that's what I've read.

well I got rear ended today I shouldn't end up being out of pocket for anything, but still sucks. I might be able to get my hands on an SRT rear bumper and sideskirts, so if I can then I'll go that route.

It's worse in person :/ but w/e I literally JUST picked up the cash from the guy to replace it all. Now I'm thinking of waiting until after winter.. I NEED my bottom end built and a clutch, I dont need srt bumper and skirts I'll have to decide sometime soon. If I sell it you'll be the first person I let know.CanaNeon wrote:Man, that sucks. Hopefully everyone is alright.
Looks like your plate cover took the brunt of it, could have been a lot worse.
P.S. - if you do get a SRT rear, sell me your lip but seriously!
Ethan, SHITTY!

Well, just turned down the SRT4 rear bumper/side skirts. I will probably regret it after winter when I'll have to hunt down other ones.
It's the smart thing to do, I should probably put the money into the rebuild since I still need to get my machine work done. Also, going in on a mini group buy for an AEM wideband that I don't want to miss out on.

But don't street race..!!??If the parts car is cleaner rust wise than your car, swap the inner dash panels (VIN) and use the parts car with your title.

Finally picked up my AEM tru boost yesterday, even though it's just going to sit :p
Ordered my AEM wideband, should be here sometime this week. I bought the clutchmasters FX400 that was on the fs board. Also, paid for my new (to me) bottom end, and it is going in to the machine shop. I'm told it'll be a while before it's done though :/ So let's hope my car holds up
Got another job, so if everything goes well my plan for this being done in the spring will work!!!!!
Last night we had a small "closer meet" and I got to drive my buddy's S3 SRT. The last dyno day we had, it pulled 374whp, 375ft-lbs. Apparently that was low for the car too... IT WAS FUCKING FUN.
