Racing seat (for big people)

Not sure if this question has been covered, but I wanted to get some input from you guys.

I'm looking for a racing seat, preferably fixed back, that is going to offer the support I want but for a larger person. I'm 6'5" and about 270. I'm not huge, I'm just wide, and that's the problem.

I'm pretty sure a Corbeau FX1 wide will fit me well, but I don't know if it will fit the car.

Any of you guys have experience shopping for seats for "fat people"? lol

Depending on how much you're willing to spend, OEM dodge viper seats are relatively wide. My dad is 6'8 300lbs and he fits in those seats pretty well. They run around 750-1000 a pair. He bought a pair of ebay for his 57' chevy truck, and they're comfy as well.

hey, I've been looking at Corbeau FX1 seats, if anyone has any experience with them let me know.

I have driven in Corbeau Forzas. Not sure if it was a wide, but I'm 6ft 1 240 and I fit it ok. The wide would probably of been a better fit

This is my buddies car, Drivers side seat is a wide, passengers is a normal width.
