DodgeEvo Project Log: Expendition Vehicle

Post by DodgeEvo » Mon Jan 14, 2013 2:01 pm

I firgured I would start one of these for my new ride. I have come back to 2gn.org because I missed it and no other forum is the same. I still miss my neon and let it RIP. But onto the new. I have a list below of things done and things that will be done to him. My idea is to make it into a prerunner of my ideas. Right now he is in between of a work style truck and starting this week into a prerunner. To answer most questions on dropping him, I would of loved to do that. But still its a 4x4, it would be hard. I would have to flip the axle in rear with two different lowering kits, ever mind dealing with the front axle. If you have any ideas of lowering him were it would be cheaper, I would appercaite them. So here we go and I hope you enjoy!

Ok, I decided to change the name of my project. I have decided to make the truck into a vehicle to cruise the desert and be able to travel in that type of enviroment. Have some new ideas listed below. Will get some pictures that are updated. Truck has been in the dealership for power steering and suspension. Getting side windows tinted with a windshield banner too done on friday. Thanks for looking.

Some ideas/things been done:

2'' wheel spacers
hood light bar setup
convertable truck cap
new tailgate
new rear bumper
tint windows

If you want to look into some cool side steps check out amp research. They sell power side steps that come down when you open the door. My dad has a set on his Ram 2500 4x4

sorry guys, I been busy at work. Was surpise seeing some post on my project log. Thank you, I appericate it. Too answer any questions about the TB Spacer, I noticed a little pep in the gas pedal and most important fuel economy. Just added 2" wheel spacers this weekend. Planning on doing a rose wood grain dash bezel kit today.

Looks good, where did you get the spacers? With the rims I'm buying and fender flares I'll most likely need some to get the backspacing right

Believe or not, I got them on ebay. They were the perfect fit and didint have to cut the factory lug nuts. Bolted right up. Cost me $200 and came with everything.
