Is there any way that you could grab your Mopar CAI off of the ACR (or strut tower bar or something) and put it on the Scooby?

I was in Philadelphia for work a few weeks ago. I almost wanted to drive the extra couple hours just to visit the showfield in a state of serenity.

EDIT: Page 9 bitches. July is coming. If I can get my shit together before then, the big fat heavy Daytona will be sporting an OBX diff (finally). Anybody who's been in that car knows that 1st and 2nd gears aren't the most useful features it has.

Nah. All of the upgrades for the OBK say STI on them. It does have an Ask Dante sticker on it at least
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

I would have loved to meet up with some people, but I wouldn't have had much time. I drove out there early Monday morning and it was all work right through Thursday night. At that time, my wife met me out there and we spent the weekend doing all the tourist stuff since neither of us had ever been.

I will say that I really enjoyed that city. You didn't have to go more than a few blocks from anywhere to find good food, it wasn't crowded, it was easy to get around, everywhere that I went it was clean, and nothing was stupid expensive. I'm sure it has it's rough areas like any other city, but I was really impressed with all the places I saw. I've been to DC, Boston, Providence, and NYC all several times, and I liked Philadelphia FAR better than any of them.

Hell, In a week, I felt like I knew my way around Philly better than I did in Boston after living there for 4 years, hah.

Honestly, I am not keeping up with any of this.

Work just put in a new filter that gives me a half hour of time on sites not approved for normal use (ie, forum boards).

I need to get back up with the forum but life is busy and work is busy.

I booked at the HW and they didnt say anything to me other than "ok, we'll see you then". Ryan Akey called before me and was told the place might not be standing, however i think he called back and they said the process to tear it down had begun but it would take like 240 days or something before they would start any demolition. For those that missed it on Facebook. Jason is working with the Motel 6.

Expect a discount code and a good rate to come shortly. If I come alone I'll stay there, but if I bring the wife and kids I'll probably stay across the street.

UPDATE FROM JASON ON FACEBOOK!!

Jason Day
Okay, I have some details on the Motel 6 for Carlisle. It's all setup and ready, I had them block off 30 rooms (20 Double, 10 Single Bed with a mix of smoking and non-smoking) just for us to use between the dates of 07/10/2013 and 07/15/2013. That's guaranteed until 06/10/2013, after that the rooms are back up for grabs to the general public so make your reservations soon.

Prices are as follows:
1 Adult - $43.99
2 Adults - $49.99
3 Adults - $52.99
4 Adults - $55.99

The number to call is 1-800-466-8356 and that call center is open until 3AM Eastern. When you call you can either tell them you want to make a reservation under the group "2GN" or if they can't locate it with that you can use group reference number "M076600065". She said either should work.

If some of you have already booked at the Harrisburg west I would recommend since no one seems to be able to give me a definite answer on if the HW is going to be around or not come July, I'd cancel there and book at the Motel 6. The owner of the HW has been less than helpful on returning my calls and I'd rather just not even bother with that place at this point.

When I called to cancel at the HW the girl was like "Ok, what is going on, was an event cancelled or something? You're the 4th person to cancel in the past hour!" I told her why and she said they had no idea when it would get torn down but it would probably happen fast when it does however they they are booked through end of July.

You need to have them transfer you to group reservations, or they will have no clue...

So from what I gather, if HW is down by then........ that means there will be an abandoned parking lot........ very near the hotel we will all be at.........

Of course, it might not be as forgiven if there is no operating business there, that is benefiting from said shenanigan makers....

The cops might not look on it as friendly as they normally do. Now if they are still operating, and there are members still staying there, then it might be to the better.

We have no idea what Motel 6 will tolerate.

I have been a guest at this motel every year that I have attended Carlisle so I think that I can speak with some authority- compared to the activities at the HW, it is extremely quiet at the Motel 6. Since I turn in early, I have always stayed across the interstate and let those who wanted to have a good time do so at the HW.

We might want to hide that group confirmation number to avoid other forums grabbing it.

I'll be there, either in the pretty stock 02 R/T or the 02 2.4 R/Turbo... Put me on the list!!!!! See you all there, who's staying at which hotel?

Adam

P.S - That is if I don't have issues at the border... shouldn't be a problem from when I checked in with them...
