Oh yeah you should color match the chrome grill inserts, just my two cents lol.

okay damn it I have two extra sets of chrome trim.... I will paint one set the same color as the car. I'll install and see what it looks on the car. Thanks for the compliment man... I think it looks different.. and clean.

looks good but isn't that a bit dangerous? what would happen if the rear end bounces a little, wont the fender touch the tire?

I'm....puzzled by the rear wheels. The front wheels look to be fairly close, but the rear is just...odd, to put it nicely.

Well I plan on cambering the rear in and modifying the wheel lip a tad.. I have not set the jounce setting to hard either. But I did take a ride and it rubbed twice. For some reason weather it be crappy cell phone pics or what it looks alot different than in person.

Front looks like it needs a little camber. Rear looks like its pushed out too far and even with camber wouldn't look good.

not a big fan of the wheels but what size spacers are those, or do you just have a crazy offset as well?

1 inch in the front and 1.5 in the rear.. I'm gonna possibly have them modified by a machinist friend and take another quarter inch off the rear. This isnt herra frush right here this is gonna be Rob frush... my own style.

Right now they're mexiflush. And if you camber the front it won't be great for traction. How do they fit without spacers?

Yeeeaaaah Mexiflush beat ya to it a long time ago. Just to get the sidewall of the rear wheels close to the fender, you'd have to add an unsafe amount of camber. That, coupled with the spacers and minimized suspension travel, means you're gonna have a bad time. This makes sense on bags, but it sounds rather unsafe on coils.

ehhh....

Post by Boosted22sxt » Fri May 31, 2013 7:00 pm

Well thanks for the comments... the front already has slight camber. The rear has none... Jerry without spacers the rear sits waaayyy in and looks goofy to me. And the front I thought looked perfect... slight camber with 1 inch spacer. The rear def pokes out more than I had originally planned. So I shall have them cut down if possible..... I was looking for a laugh with the rob flush comment. But now I'll have to go tanning since I'm mexiflush. I can never win lol.. and as far as loosing the roof rack hell no... not happening. And wheels ehh I get a lot of people liking and disliking them. I guess it depends.

Edit: also if you see my driveway is uneven as hell... so in the one picture it looks like the tire is already touching the wheel well.. it is kinda because the car isn't flat. The rear I believe should come up a tad.

The wheels are great. The fitment just needs a little work, but you already know that. With some more tinkering, I imagine it could look pretty good. :)

thanks man... I really like having a different look. I mean I'd love to have a set of big money wheels like skaterking or purpleneon and get the look like they have but I'm gonna sell my purple 2000 and do some really dirty things to my mustang. It involves something with 70mms of fury... lol
