Got an envelope in the mail today...

List of things to do...

Install engine

Install MTX and clutch that aren't here yet...

Work out any bugs that arise from said engine install.

Hope MPX ships a part or two that is back ordered until the 24th, tho the date seems to be floating, to a later date.

Got the sticker in today! For once, I'm actually in pretty good shape at this point. The OBX is in (and absolutely kicks ass), new clutch is in, worn tie rods and ball joints have been replaced, cool new shift knob emblem is in.

Stuff left:

-Alignment
-Re-weld front engine mount
-Switch over to ECU-controlled boost (which I think might solve my issue with overshooting target boost)
-More city driving to break in the new clutch
-Carefully remove Carlisle 2012 sticker and put it with my 2006-2011 stickers
-Wash/vacuum/wax where there's still paint

I guess that I should check the mail to see if my sticker has arrived. Got the annual Ziebart stuff done this morning so I'm down to detailing the interior and packing for the trip. :blob7:

The experience of being at the 2gn hotel is what really matters. The car show is just something to pass the time away during the morning/day.

I'm glad I can help with any experiences you guys may remember.

So me and the woman are wanting to come this year. This would be the first time attending (as we've been in Florida for a couple years up until april of 2013) and I see everyone is getting their stickers in the mail... I can just pay at the gates right? and the price shown is for general admission? or is that for entering a show car or something?
I'm not trying to get my neon into anything special, but I'd like to drive through the gates still (little less walking?)

Registration is for the showfield. If you aren't going to have your car in the show, you can pay at the gate to enter as a spectator. That also means you will be walking in since only showcars and vendors can drive on the showfield.
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

+ then you will have to probably pay for parking on someones lawn each day. I think that can range $10-15 a day. You may be better off just paying the show field registration. I don't have a show car either but it is nice being able to just drive right in and park.
