So another quick update!

Finally pieced together my set of SRT skirts! a mix from on here and on ebay and its actually in pretty good shape. i still need to clean the pained side as the underside is a little dirty but im excited to get these mounted.

So its a full set moldings and skirts. one of the rear moldings is cracked but here they are

So a small update: ive been trying to find wrinkle red paint at the stores and i got around to picking some up and painted one of my injector covers to see what it looks like in the engine bay..

Image

The wrinkle isnt as aggressive as i was thinking but i like it still.

Image

I wanted to do a red under lying theme on the car my thoughts were valve cover brakes sway bars and that type of stuff but i dont know on the red vc with the red wires and i would put on a different injector cover if i did the vc. any input??

and on a side note i love the chrome rings on the cluster! they add so much to it. now i want to upgrade to the chrome door handles but its gonna be pricy as i want to get the leather panel to go with them

Finally got the skirts installed and it really wasnt that hard with the how to. i love the look so much better but now it looks higher and needs to be lowered...

also i got the chrome/leather door panels then recovered the inserts in some gray micro suede.

Think it looks pretty damn good actually and the handle feels better as well as the window sill not the cheap plasticky feeling like before definitely worth the money for the upgrade.

Sorry for the dirty car but here are the pics.

Looks very nice. Are you thinking about getting similar fabric for the bottom section on the door or just leave it like that (darker fabric would be less prone to staining after all)?

been sittin on an ebay auction to score a k&N typhoon intake for 30 shipped. i must say the intake is worlds apart from ebay intakes. it mounts and stays solid no vibrations and the mounts are well thought out.. im a believer now in why they are so much more expensive they actually are setup for the car not just the piping. all i have to do is redo the hose from the vc that was all i had on hand..

On to the pics:

Looking good!

Not sure about the air make up hose tho. Would have been nice if they put the nipple on the other side of the tube.

nice score. too bad it didn't include the pipe that goes from the IM to the throttle body. As for that hose... just put a vacuum cap on the intake and put a breather filter on the VC. That's what I did when I had a 2.0 with that intake anyway.

So i got an LFS Throttle body a bit ago and finally got around to putting it on. So far no CEL which is awesome! also for the 05 you will need to get a cable holder from an 03 and i had no problem but i needed to get a new coupler to fit it onto the K&N

So far i didnt notice too much difference in the day to day driving but it pulls harder in the top end and the pedal feels great it was so soft before and now it is nice and firm it feels so much nicer.

so its been a while since Ive changed anything on the car. I got a job and bought a house so i havent had as much time or money to work on it.

so i have taken off the wing i like the look better plus now my trunk opens its self which is nice when my hands are full!

you can also see the mud flaps that i put on i like the look of them. and i switched back to my stock 7 spokes as my other tires are dry rotting because they are from 2010 and had sat for a while when i didnt have a car to put them on... now i still need some struts to put my lowering springs on to get rid of the 4x4 status...

Image

Image

Ive been looking for an E-Blue srt rear bumper to finish the look of the rear end but i havent seen any in good shape as i dont want to re paint anything so ive been picky...

Nice man! Just got around to catching up on your car. Love the SRT skirts and the chrome rings on the cluster. What year and model chryslers did they come out of? Kind of want to steal your idea they look so good. I did the same super bright white LEDs in my old 02 and loved em. Was kind of thinking of going red this time but seems like so much work to sand all of the green film off the cluster and Hvac surround so might just go back to blue :slap:

Injector cover is a must! one of the first mods I did to the 03 when I got it. Engine bay is SUPER clean and looks sharp! I hid my accelerator lines for a while but the cable is now kinda worn out and sloppy and was holding the throttle just slightly more open at idle then I liked so I pulled it back over the manifold.

You said no check engine light with the Lorenzo big throttle body eh? Hows it holding up? I wanted to do a big throttle body as well but between the Cam, underdrive pulley, R/T intake and head I am afraid ill be pushing the stock ecu just a bit too much and throw the code :banghead:

Congrats on buying the house, that is something I plan to do in the near future. Overall the car looks great man, keep up the good work and keep posting!

Thanks man ya I like the skirts but I wanna find the srt rear bumper to finish off the look I think it looks a little off for now. but oh well.

Its been a while but I wanna say that the rings might have been out of a 300 or sebring.. I don't remember tho... I think it was around a 2000 era model.

ya that's part of why I like the leds tho as they were so easy to get done! and it looks much better, i sanded it off when i had my 98 it looked bad ass with the white lights but it was tedious.

ya i was excited about the tb as i had heard that lorenzos didn't pull a code like the mpx ones do with the 05s but i the throttle isn't too much power gain but that's partly because im stock after that entirely. but i want to do the udp and magnum intake but ill have to wait on that for the funds to come in. but it opens up the intake so much anc sounds great at WOT.

Thanks for the comments tho man.

No problem man great work so far
I plan to run SRT skirts and rear bumper as well. I think I am gonna swap out the 03-05 front bumper and hood for a 2002 style bumper and 00-02 hood, then just throw a HD lip on the 02 bumper.

I might look for a Lorenzo TB when I purchase a SYKED ECU

Before 02 you could get folding mirrors that were heated and it was relatively common.

I love the chrome rings on the gauges! Reminds me of my Miata (my one true love). Did you black out the corner lenses? Also, how easy was the UDP install? It's something I've been wanting to do, but I don't know if I've got the repertoire of curse words to make it through the install...

Your car looks great and congrats on the house!

Thanks man, The chrome rings help to class up the interior a bit, and ya they kinda are like the miatas. but the UDP was surprisingly easy. the hardest part was getting the crank bolt loose... but other than that with the correct puller it was simple.

Nice work !

I also love the chrome gauge rings. Do they slide on or something ? They look like a perfect fit ? Are they ? lol

Chrome handles would just be perfect with those !

I prefer your car with the 7-spoke wheels, looks cleaner.

Anyway, keep it up !
