Its like its staring at the cars across the street thinking about taking them all in a race. The trunk looks nice matte mixed with that shiny paint you have. Thermal peeking out. And those rain visors... I need to order some actually. It looks good.

thanks man! The rain visors are the AVS in channel ones. Fitment is perfect and install is super simple. They're about $60ish if I remember correctly.akirony wrote:Its like its staring at the cars across the street thinking about taking them all in a race. On other news I ordered a gates waterpump/timing kit, thermostat & radiator cap for the SRT4 motor. Will be dropping the motor off at Sean's(Hybrid_Srt2001) house this saturday. Won't get nothing done that day as parts won't be in and his 1gen Srt swapped car is gonna go down the drags that night
Will keep this updated as the slow progress is made

What size tires are on the car now? Still the 205/50/16's ? Also are you planning to race the car in any organized events that will require a roll cage? If so you might want to get the welds looks at because in the one pic from the last page it looked pretty boogered up and the guys at tech and be very strict! I had one ever so slightly boogered weld (mig'ed) on the entire cage for a open track car and they gave me a hard time. I ever so slightly ground off the boogered part and tig'ed over it making it the best looking weld on the car now. Good luck with the swap!

The motor was put on hold due to lack of funds and time. But things are about to change. Got a new job so funds will be picking up and the time will free up in the next month as my buddy who is doin the rebuild is getting married this weekend so once that's done he should have some more free time.akirony wrote:1st of all how's the motor coming?.?. And that lip is gonna look nice. Haven't ever seen the mopar kit in your body color so I'm looking forward to that. Also are you thinking about blacking the middle piece out or staying a single color?
As for the lip, ima have it all painted to match & then prob plasti-dip the middle black to see which way I like it haha

Aw Man.. Now I'm really jealous. I have to find an 04-05 pcm to get one. 03 is shunned. Tell us about it cause my coilovers have been put on hold until he gets an 04-05 r/t tune ready with cores.NeonNick925 wrote:Sending payment for my Syked ECU this Friday! The Syked ECU arrived. I ordered the 01-02 non r/t calibration. I have the magnum motor but the butterflies have been deleted or I would have went with the r/t tune.
Since I have a 2000, I threw CEL 0508 for the IAC, so I was told to swap mine for one from 01 or 02. Went to JY and got a 01 TB,IAC and IAC pigtail. Hooked everything up and fired car up. Rpms shot to 4k and dropped to about 1.5rpms and idled weird. Unplugged the IAC,It idled fine. Thought the IAC was bad, hooked up car to my buddies dad's DRBIII and was able to verify the IAC to be working. Was able to clear the CEL,but it pops right back on. Also picked up a DTC OF P00000 which doesnt exist so were baffled. Since the car runs fine without IAC we put a block off plate on TB and that way we can leave IAC plugged in without it making the Rpms jump around.
Any ideas? Wanna make sure I've done everything on my end before bugging Kevin about the tune.

Being the 2000 IAC/wire harness should be 4 wires, did you get the correct two wires from the PCM connector to the IAC connector?
