All he could have done is just copied and pasted (if he didn't wanna type again).

Linking to that site is never a good thing lol.

a good reason not to goto the other .org... they treat people like asses, instead of giving him a simple nice answer, they dog him like assholes... I feel sorry for the guy, he seems nice just trying to find out how to fix his car. Isnt that what these forums are for?

He's probably reading it here more than over there because the flaming is starting but not severe just yet.....new post over there give it time....
Anywho...
1 - Remove the plug wires from the plugs
2 - take a sparkplug socket and a 3/8 ratchet and remove all 4 spark plugs
3 - unplug the coil pack wiring to diconnect the coil pack
4 - take off the CAI, remove your TB
5 - take a flashlight and look inside your intake manifold to see if there is any puddled water in there, remove the water if there any
6 - try to crank the engine over, if there is just the click to the flywheel and the motor wont crank...proceed
7 - Take a flashlight again and look at the front and rear of the block for any holes in it, if you find one the motor is toast...
8 - If you dont find any holes, try to turn the motor over by hand to see if it will move....
Last august the same thing happened to me with a CAI, I was lucky to get it covered under my drivetrain warranty....but they did not have too..
I hope this info helps...

This happned to my with my first gen. but my intake was above my header, go figure. but like a dumb a$$ i started the car up and drove it. luckly the only prob I ended up with was a bent rod. when we took the motor apart 3 months later the rod was about 1/8 inch from the cylinder wall. but the car still ran. Only on 3 cyliners but it ran. call your insurance company and have them look at the car. DO NOT DO ANYTHING TO THE CAR IF YOU HAVE FULL COVERAGE. This way they can not denie you coverage saying the things you did afetrweord actualy caused more dammage.
