ok got an idea...
ok here pretty soon im gunna start with my stereo so this is what im thinking.....
Alpine CDA- 9853
Alpine SBS-05DC (center speaker)
Alpine Type-S SPS171A (6-1/2" 2-way Component Speakers)
Alpine Type-R SPR-69LP (6"x 9"Coaxial 2-way Speaker)
Alpine MRP-F240 (40 x 4 watts at 4 ohms)
I'm not sure about what dash speakers to go with...i would like to stick with alpine but i havn't really looking into them.
The things in bold are the pieces i already have.
Once I get all this im planning on running the 6 1/2s and the 6 x 9s on the alpine external amp, and run the tweeters from the components, and the 3 1/2 inch speakers on the head unit amp. Now with that said...this is my problem....
*****
edit: hmm what should i run the center channel speaker with...the external amp or the head unit amp?
*****
I was wondering if anyone has ever put the alpine center channel speaker and the head unit on the dash...im kinda of afriad im going to have to cut the dash and i dont really want to do this but i will do it if it has to be done...but this is what i will be going with and i might add 1 sub down the line...but let me know about the center speaker thing.

the main purpose of the center speaker is for souroung tipe shit... basically playing movies/vidogames in your car.... if thats not what your planning the forget about it.

run the 6.5 and 6x9's off the amp, great amp, the 6.5s and tweeters should be run from the same source ie amp, make sure the tweeters have passive crossovers on them or they will blow quickly, then wire the 3.5's in the dash mono and run them off your deck, as the center channel speaker should play mono there you got 5 channles now just add a 10 inch sub voula 5.1, it should sound decent. ann easy way to do it is to get a 5.1 amp its clean simple and easy not bad priced either, alpine makes a nice one i installed in a customers denali, not a big fan of 5.1 but hey im puttin it in my sxt so who am i to talk.
BEER is the answer! but i forgot the question....
