Alternator

ok if ive heard right the 05 SXT has a 90 amp alternator. is this correct? ive also heard the 05 with the kicker livin' loud system has a 120amp alternator. is this true?

the reason im asking is because around xmas time ill have 2 amps and im not sure if that lil 90 will push both amps so im thinking about getting the 120amp alternator before investing in the other amp and stuff

i thought the stock was a 80amp alt? before you invest in batts, and alts. i install all your audio then upgrade you engine grounds, then see if your lights still dim. then you can upgrade the alt or batt.

nope i did some looking when i got home and all the 05 neons come with 120amp alternators....my lights dim pretty bad as it is...esp. when i make the windows goes down. i would hate to see what its like in the earlier neons...

edit - ok this is what i found so ill share it.
1995-1997 85 amps
1998-2004 83 amps
2005 120 amps

if you decide to upgrade the alternator, check out www.excessiveamperage.com I got my 180 amp alt from them, comes w/ an overdrive pulley, cost about $280 I think. I cant remember, but it works great.
