Lorenzo Fuel rail

Post by unsuper man » Tue Nov 23, 2004 3:44 pm

does aanyone have pictures of a Lorenzo rail installed on thier car using the stock fuel lines? i checked the website and was told i need the following:

-2 feet of -6an or 3/8 fuel line
-6an straight socketless female thread fitting or the 2 piece stainless fuel line fittings, this depends on what style of hose you use, whether it be stainless steel or a black socketless hose.
-3/8 NPT to a -6an 90 degree fitting both ends are male thread. We use EARL's Fittings, because they are cheaper, but the same thing.

im a bit confused as to how to make this work only because i cant picture all the items listen or my stock fuel system. im getting eaither 750cc or 1000cc injectors so i figure a new rail will help them work a little better. anyone using this yet?

1000cc injectors god damn.. i hope you plan on running something to support that kind of flow usually 750-880 range is just find for anything making 600whp... And go to Vitor's site he sells some adapters that connect to the stock fuel line when running a after market rail. You could just also fab up a line going from the stock metal tube feed into a ss line or even push-on line to an fitting then use a -6 or whatever to a 3/8th.

*Note both Roach and I run -6an lines from the tank to the the rail and -6an returns on our cars, there is no sense in sticking to the stock stuff since it tends blow at high boost levels, we've seen it happen so we both went the more expensive fuel setup route. So far so good.
I would post a mod list, but Its too long and i'm way too lazy....

well the plan was 57trim and plenty of spray.... but since im going to be relying more on the juice then boost i redesigned my plan and i tihnk eaither stage 1 or stock 04 injectors will work, but i still want to go with the new rail... since im getting a killer deal on one.

why are you going to spray.... boost should be enough on its own... i currently run 40lb'r and believe me the stock can't handle at all so much for the chill-factory regulator (of course mine blew) i got like 17mpg at like %25 throttle. i have 880s waiting to go in, but my worry with the non-magnum sohc is that it will not flow past 400+hp without some port work. Which i do not have. My setup contains a 60trim T350 wheel in case you wonder.
