Fuel Filter - where is it?

Post by Maddog » Tue Jul 25, 2006 12:32 pm

I've got a friend that has an '04 R/T (but no computer), and he was wondering where the fuel filter was located on his car.

Please PM or email me if you know (aclnes55@yahoo.com).

Thanks,
Chuck

The fuel filter is integral to the fuel pressure regulator. So really, there is no normal fuel filter. Not worth it to replace the regulator every year either, it's $65 CAD.

I don't have a pic of it online at the moment, but it's right off the fuel sender unit, passenger side of the tank. Basically the silver thing that the fuel line coming from the fuel tank hooks up to. Twist (push and twist? can't remember) and it comes right out.
