how do i post pictures on hear

for the most part pics are posted in the picture forum, go back the forum index and scroll down a smidge, youll see it

to get the url right click on the image, click properties and copy the location part. and past in inbetween the [img]and[/img]

Your pictures must be hosted somewhere as well. You cannot post pictures off your computer harddrive. :)

Well, if you run httpd, are always on, and you have a static ip or keep up your dyndns url you can!

Are you a Linux buff as well? Linux is great for running all sorts of server processes and doing so securely. I, myself, run sendmail, procmail, spamassassin, cron, and fetchmail to filter the spam out of my email...works wonders and catches most of it, too. It's also nice to be able to 'ssh' into my home system from work, too :)

I also love how Linux doesn't crash too often. Though Windows 2000/XP is not as far behind as its predecessors... I guess that Windows got better ever since it started using processes.
