SlvrACR, I shipped your set out today. I even polished them before they went out. Hopefully they work. Everything lined up ok on my 03.
dblsg, if you take down that friggin avatar, I'll only charge you $14 for a set. I can get them out next week definitely.

Cool, the "Hurst Fatties" showed up. Let me know how they work. This is kind of an experiment because I don't know the durometer of the bushings that Hurst supplies.
dblsg, PM waiting. I've got two extra sets, so anyone that wants 'em, let me know.

Sam, your set is going out today. Thanks!
I can get you a set this week (I made extras last week). I just PM'd you with payment info. Shipping is no problem at all.04sxt2.0 wrote:i'll take a set off you too. but if it works out for you i'll pick them up, or you can ship them just let me know all the necc info
The cradle is the same. The rod itself is too long below the pivot ball and it would hit the floor without that extra 1/2" of space under the cradle.TNK wrote:so whats the difference between thecradle on the hurst shifter, as opposed to teh stock cradle?

Sure, I'll take a MO. PM me if you definitely want them and I'll give you the information you need. These have been used on plenty of Maddog shifters with good results.
More sets available. 04sxt2.0, you still interested?

whats up with the extra thick ones. Do those allow for an easier reach to the shifter by raising it? interesting..

The Hurst short-throw shifter rod actually sticks down below the base. The Hurst kit includes 4 poly bushings to raise the shifter base 1/2". Those thick ones I made were a one-off custom set to work with the Hurst STS setup. Still waiting to hear how they worked
.
Neon_driver, I don't have any right now, but I have enough aluminum stock to make some this week. Drop me a PM. Thanks.
Still trying to decide how many sets of these I'll be bringing to Carlisle...

I'd snag a set from you at Carlisle, but I am gonna need a set before then...
I would say that you should bring a decent amount with you. They are an affordable and effective modfication, so I think they will sell pretty well for you. Just a thought...

Hey everyone, just an update. I moved into a new apartment over the weekend and I might not have internet for a while. The only places I can go on 2GN are at work and at my parents' house. Also, the only place I can check my email is my parents' house as well (I get written up at work for checking personal email - bunch of inexperienced, paranoid pussies in our IT department). If you would like a set within the next couple of weeks, please bear with me because it might not happen right away. My apologies.
ALSO, the last couple of people have paid with credit cards. I specified in my original post that I can not accept credit cards. However, PayPal has recently upgraded their Personal accounts and users can now accept up to 5 credit card payments annually. From now on, if you would like to pay with a credit card, there will be a $3.00 extra charge and you need to contact me first. PM or email are fine. Again, there is a max of 5 credit card transactions per year, so I may not be able to take them due to those 5 already being used. Thank you.
Neon_driver00, you have a PM.
