tune up? fuel filter?

tune up? fuel filter?

what all is involved in a full tune up? i think my car is LONG past due for one. but i dont want to take it in and pay to have it done.
also, changing the fuel filter.... hard?? easy? what do i have to do?

you cant change the fuel filter. its built into the pump assembly.

change the usual.. new filter, new plugs, new wires, use some mopar combustion chamber cleaner, change the oil..

mopar combustion chamber cleaner?? about how much does this cost? my car has been workign alright, but would it be a good idea to run some of this through it in the spring when its back on the road?

The FPR is replaceable and does have a filter built into it. But it supposedly does not need to get changed....ask my burned out fuel pump....thats BS. :evil:

i was unaware of not being able to change the fuel filter.. my 1gn had a fuel filter that couldn't even be blown through, and when they replaced it, it was like gaining 10 mpg....

I'm not sure how much they are at the dealer but Deyme racing carries the fuel pressure regulator/Filter and they cost $99.
