I want to make a box for my sub to go in my spare tire place and I want to make it myself. I will be putting the OEM carpet in so I really don't need fiberglass, or is that the easy way to do it? anyways I want to have it angled towards the deck lid at like a 25-35 degree angle. where can I get materials and how can I find out how much space I need in the box? and how long should it take me?
Sorry I have tried to find this for the past few days and have found nothing, maybe I am blind and need new glasses but PLEASE help.

use 3/4 inch MDF board available at your local Lowes/Home Depot. As for how much space you need that depends on the subs you have, each sub is different but the number your looking for is the sealed box volume (unless your feeling really froggy and are going to try to build a ported box). Remember to measure the volume on the INSIDE of the box so subtract 1 1/2 inches off each OUTSIDE dimension of the box to calculate this. The first box i built for the neon i matched the angle of the back seats and my infinity kappa 12's didn't have any problem fitting, but again this measurement can be calculated with the top mount depth of the sub (this can all be found usually on the box or on crutchfield).
