Danny gets a new project car!!!!!!

Well boys and girls. The time has come for me to get a project car for once and I found the perfect canidate. It's a 1985 Nissan 200sx, it's a 5 speed RWD coupe.

It has about 150K miles and the only problem is a dead battery, but I have a jumper pack in it. Here is a pic of it:

What I'm debating is what I should do to it. I do have a 13b turbo motor that has nothing to go into, but a sr20det swap would be so sick. So gimme some suggestion for mods to it, exterior, interior, and motor wise.

It's just sitting in front of my house right now un-registered.

the 350z engine is supposed to give a lot of power also and easier to aquire than the sr20.
there was a recent article in one of the main tuner mags (super street.. i think) you can find the engine in the one of the suv's also.

Oh I'm sure it is! I didn't say that it wasn't fun. Anytime I see a clean car like that from the '80s, I just picture girl with pink spandex and huge hair... Like those cheesy salesman guys that used to be in the old school ads.

Dude they use the VQ in EVERYTHING!!! But its not that bas, maybe you can twin turbo a Quest now......

13B. It's different. SR20DET when you blow it up later on. How is the market for susupension bits for a car like that? Can later model stuff swap onto it with limited aggression and complication?

I vote 13b also... although there is SO much support for the sr20det.

At first I was thinking of the 240, not the 200..

That is why that pic took me by surprise!

Hah, ugly? Not qute. We drive bug-eyed Neon's for God's sake. I like the car a lot. I think it will definitely need some 17's or so.

Gah, that would make it look terrible, it's most likely gonna get some 15 inch 92 enkei mesh rims and make it look like this:

Hey, congrats neighbor! Awesome find. I'd go 13b and go standard zipperhead SR20det when you cook the 13. There is a ton of after market for that car cuz of the new "drift" trend. You should'nt have a problem living in Little Vietnam (aka San Jose) anyway. There are a ton of little tuner-shops down there that import illegal JDM componants and copy-cat parts. Thats RWD innit?

Yeah, I actually lost about 75 pounds, I went from 260 to 185. I am actually a shit load skinnier

P.S: I jsut found out it has 4 wheels disc too

Tomorrow is my day off and me and my buddies are going to start project "gutting" tomorrow. We are going to try and get the tenzos in my neon to fit in the nissan
