Just got a fellow org member to ship me his passenger mtx, wheel axle for my swap (to Canada).
UPS tracking says it weighs one pound!! Isn't that VERY VERY little?
Tracking Number: XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Service Type: GROUND
Weight: 1.00 Lb
Does a passenger wheel axle weigh 1 pound?

Off of a similar sized car (for a school project) I weighted out a drivers side CV to be about 14lbs. Given the extra length of the passenger side, I'd figure it to be around 15-20lbs.

I think it depends more ont he dimensions of the box then the weight. I have two sets of coilovers shipped to, same thing, one was listed by FedEx as being 55 lbs the other being listed as 25 lbs. I probably wouldn't worry about it too much.
Some don't update the weight till later on I've found as well

Hey bud -
I actually do alot of work with with UPS (we have a bunch of contracts with UPS) - I literally ship about 50 packages aday VIA UPS
Bascially this guy is probably trying to play the odds
Usally UPS will RE-WEIGHT EVERYTHING - sometimes they dont
Basically all that the 1LB says is that is what he typed in when making the label up - Theres a good chance once its in UPS's hands it will get re-weighed and the bill re-adjusted - sometimes this doesnt happen though - and you get your 10 pound package shiped as a 1lb package
Chances are he just typed in 1LB
