that MAY do it.
... then strip your car buck naked (like louie's).... that MAY do it.
if not, the money and time you will have spent will make you feel a close connection with your neon and 14 secs won't matter any more.

i wish i knew. .cant run at the track. .im paranoid that ill blow another transmission

along with the bolt ons add a 75hp shot of nitrous, oh ya and don't forget to get an afx racing computer for the r/t as well. new a kid with all the bolt ons racing computer and 75 shot of nitrous the best he could do was a 15.49 or something like that but his was a 95-99 model atx since your's is an mtx you should be able to pull it off.

You know a while back i saw a virtually stock neon run 13.7 with a 100 shot.. did that for about a year. Now i've known Roach for a while and when he was going through his nitrous faze, he had all the bolt-ons and a Race-Ported Head w/ a 75 shot and he ran 14-flat and made around 225 whp. Its do- able and has been done already.
I would post a mod list, but Its too long and i'm way too lazy....

the cheapest way to get there is Nitrous. I have a base 2000 neon with the normal bolt ons and was running a 75 shot and was running 14.7's.
You also have to take into consediration your altitude. If I was in california that would be more like 13.7's where as if i was somwhere higher it might be 15.7's.

Not quite that much difference. With a 75 shot I ran a 14.8 at 600 ft. elevation. Same setup ran a 15.1 here at 5800 ft.sirvaliant_98 wrote:the cheapest way to get there is Nitrous. I have a base 2000 neon with the normal bolt ons and was running a 75 shot and was running 14.7's.

Nitrous makes up for alot of thin air. N/A is affected way more by elevation than forced air or N2O.
