black ice
So driving to a party last night, going around a 45* turn which evidentally was covered in ice, i just slid and hit the 4 inch curb with both my left tires at the same time. My rims just looked a little dirty so i thought nothing of it. Then this morning i looked and where they hit its pretty chewed up, but even at that i was relieved cuz i thought part of the body was hit but as soon as i started to drive it i noticed the steering wheel shaking pretty good the whole way home. It's too cold to look at it right now, but any ideas on what thats from?

I did the same thing in my dad's Hyundai, I hit a curb after hydroplaning (pinched an plastic inbetween the rim and curb, when I hit the curb it sharted and sent blue plastic flying everywhere, scared the fuck outta me, thought I broke the rim) we only needed a re-alinement, but it was only with the right front.

how fast did you hit it?
if you're *really* lucky, you might have just messed up the alignment badly, but like everyone else said, it may be worse than that
