Wooow damn I was kinda expecting a wider beam pattern and more light down ahead. It looks kinda weired not what i expected. I guess its becasue of the 4.2mm difference between the fillament location.

We will have to see how mine are gonna look.

Mine are the same way. I've got some 8k ones from one of the guys on srtforums. Not much more projection than a stock light down the road. Side by side with a stock neon you can't really tell the difference except in brightness. In the normal beam pattern everything is ridiculously illuminated. The only benefit I see from it is that reflective objects out of the beam pattern glow. I don't know why, but like street signs or the reflectors in the road glow from WAY far away even if I can't see the road or anything, I still see them shining :D

Okay so I went and took a quick couple of pics of mine. They're 6500k. Most of them are blurry, sorry about that, can't hold still long enough for the shutter. And I can't seem to find a road dark enough around here... :? so I settled for industrial.

Here are mine. There was a lot of water drops on the surface and it caused a lot of glare but when clean they look very sweet.

Here is also a video of the start up and warm up process.

I will try to take some more photos tonight.

I'd run you over for being an idiot and staring directly into the headlights. Maybe that's just me thouh.

Yes, I realize the name calling may be childish, but what's more childish then throwing rocks at someones car.

Go ahead throw them I got my gun loaded and ready for action.

No seriously come on! Dont be a kid.

There was rain all over the car this morning and the drops on the headlights caused some more then usual glare. Now its raining again tonight so I cant take any pix to prove to you that the glare is minimal and in fact the focus of the headlights is a lot better then it was with the hallogens. The cutoff line is a lot sharper then before.

BTW the kit is 5000K

If yo lived in a town where a lot of dumbasses put them in stock housings, you would feel the same. You cannot disagree that your are blinding people at night.

I really hate that crap........Have one of your friends drive your car towards you, while you are driving thiers toward them, you don't have to stare right at them to be temperarily blinded on a dark road.....

Kits SUCK......I would never do anything to someones car, it was a joke, however, me being pissed off at the many ricers that ONLY put them in thier cars to get bright blue/purple lights, is not a joke, there is no real performance gain with a kit, the beam is not centralized enough.

Sorry, but you know it's true!

Umm. Dont look directly at the light? HEHEHE. Alright. Here. Let me just adjust my rearview mirror accordingly. My bad for being inconvienced by a stupid overly bright light. ...

I know that glare sux real bad and it even pisses me off when people drive around with unaligned headlights. But the majority of the glare probably like (95%) of it is caused by a bad lens that has chips from road debree, scratches and dirt on it. All the headlights are designed to be pretty efficient with light output and minimal glare but as they get old glare increases. The deal with the HIDs in our headlights is that the focal point changes and it causes the light pattern to change a little bit. I am very happy with the way the HIDs in my headlights are. I can notice a lot of glare when the headlights are wet but thats because of the water drops on the surface that cause light to be dispursed all over the place. When they are dry however its almost the same as stock only more white then yellow.

No actually it's not true. You can't tell me there is no difference going from halogens to HIDs. I'm sorry, but there is a difference. And there's even more of a difference if you do happen to have the money and time to chop up your set or another set of housings to make projectors (since we all know and agree that the ebay ones look like poo). Just because someone, or alot of people don't have that kind of money and want better vision at night and get HIDs in stock housings doesn't make them a ricer. If that's the case, I'm a ricer, Jason's a ricer and several other people on these boards alone, are ricers.

Sorry, but yeah I do disagree with some of the things you're saying.
