Relays

Post by SolarYNeon » Fri Sep 01, 2006 12:50 am

I'm currently in the process of getting ready to do a mag swap, I just need the relays. Now I waltzed into autozone looking for single pole oduble throw relays, and to be honest with you, I HAVE NO IDEA what one looks like or what it remoetly resembles. If someone could help me out by throwing my a part # or even a picture or brand, id love them forever and ever.

just get your hands on a common relay used for remote starts or even power lock setups. I have a handle full of them sitting right next to me with pigtails on them

Autozone. They're usually labeled as headlight relays, or something to do with lights. I dunno what brand....just whatever they have.

If you check with an Audio shop, they may have the relays you need. Bosch brand have a great reputation. Don't forget the diodes in your installation.

just goto the fog light section of autozone, they are $3.99 each, thats where i got mine, but you can also goto a junkyard and rob some relays from a 1g, they are the same type/style relay. i have a whole toolbox of them from a 95 that i parted out.. sadly this was after i sprung for the $8 at autozone =p
