That is the rear defrost strips. You can still get your windows tinted just up until the defrost strips. You can't notice it when your windows are tinted.

A example is Jason's car:

I once parked next to Jason at work to see how our tint differs and it's exactly the same.

My window tint is on the inside over those lines, plus, those lines are for the rear defroster.

Window tint goes over it fine. You might have to worry about keeping the tint on when you use the rear defroster. The first week I had the tint, whenever I would use the defroster, the tint would sligtly come off.

Well, in my experience(I tinted windows for 2 1/2 years....it is actually better for you to leave the defrost lines on there if you are gonna get the window tinted. If you try to strip it off, it makes for high and low uneven spots were the defrost strips used to be which creates bubbles in the tint. If you leave them on, it is nice and uniform and the tint goes over them with no problem.

Well, that all depends where they are on the window, and what they look like. If they are around the edges of the window, and they look silver/white from the outside.....NO, they won't go away on their own......if they are in the middle of the window and they look silver/white from the outside....NO, they won't go away on their own either.....the only ones that will go away on their own are the water bubbles.....these will be in the middle of your window, not around the edges, and they will look like blurry spots when you look out your window.... All "water" bubbles should cure out in about a week to 2 weeks depending on the climate where you are.
