Hey guys, since I'm a noob....this was on my car between the cold side pipe and the throttle body thingy......is this bad? Should I replace this? or is this supposed to be like this? Please don't make fun of me...I'm new......

Car is doing great....finally got the little alignment issue fixed....so hopefully putting a full contact patch on the track will help out tremendously.......we shall see.
