Turbo Manifold / Computer for 2g N/A

Post by BlackMagic » Fri Sep 15, 2006 4:35 pm

I am working on putting together a parts list for my install guy...

My list so far is Mitsubishi 16g Turbo, Greddy Type-RS TC-1150 BOV, STB-Racing 28x9x2.5 I/C (ebay item), ZPIracing Boost Controller.

I need a turbo manifold that will work with the Mitsu 16g Turbo, which has an internal wastegate so the manifold dosent need a Wastegate port, infact i'd prefer one with out it because I dont feel like looking for a block plate for it. Can any one foward me in the right direction for the manifold?

What should I get for a computer since that needs to get changed too?

Thanks!

Chill Factory still exists, but it really is top notch stuff. If you're trying to go cheap, that's not the way to go. But I'd contact Dave (DrvNsily) on the other org. Tell him I sent ya. He should be able to get ya a price.

www.thestreetsource.net sells a SOHC turbo manifold, not sure if its what your looking for, but it looks identical to the Chill Factory manifold. You dont need to change the computer to run a turbo on the 03+, but if your really interested in switching your full PCM, the only option is MegaSquirt.

If your just going for a standalone fuel management computer then there a few other options out there...

thats some good info!!1 for only 280, you can have a SOHC magnum turbi mani, and NOT have to buy all the other crap if you want to do an SRT4 swap. Anyways, I like it - since not being able to do N2O, I am looking again at turbo in the future - THIS helps, nice find, thanks!

looks like they sell the good old "log" style mani... not too bad, i've seen alot of guys use em at http://www.homemadeturbo.com/

these guys do some pretty cool stuff... mostly honda's though.. still might help with a ghetto turbo setup

No, the srt turbo is a "turbofold" its a turbo manifold, and turbo, in one unit, thats why you need the DOHC to SOHC adaptor to use one on our cars.
