i just bought a new battery for my car...but i cant get the old battery out...is there a tie down or something...cause it wont budge

There is only one bolt...in the back. The front one holds the mount in place and does not need to be removed for battery removal.

patriot is right.
The one in the back is a bolt with a 13mm head on it. the one in the front, holds the battery tray in place, dont touch that one.
