how hard is it to take off r/t sideskirts?

Got a question on outside appearance modifications. Questions about body kits, exterior lighting, just anything thats a visual mod on the "exterior" of the car. Ask those questions here.

and why are you taking them off?

So the R/T sideskirt goes over it. The Neon looks silly without sideskirts IMO.

I got an even better question.... How do I put R/T sideskirts ON?? I bought a sweet set and it looks like I have to drill holes i the car. Is that what it takes? Let me know... If anyone has the time... I'd appreciate a step by step thru Email. white440@adelphia.net

Thanks guys!

they're not any lower than normal.

the lowest point on your car will still be the jacking points..

the only point on the r/t sides that could possiblly be lower, is the little mudguard looking thing right in front.

but im working on removing that

There's "posts" sticking out that look like they get pushed thru holes to hold them on. Do I take them off and use the 3m tape or no? Thanks again guys...

I did a test fit today and see that you're right. With the posts sticking out it looked really difficult/involved. Thanks for the help!

theres like 6 posts that snap into body holes underneath, there are also body pins (those stupid plasic screws that everyoen hates to pull off) at the front middle and rear. i removed mine to get my fender off one day and i was afraid i was gonna break em, but i used a paint mixing stick (wood) and pryed them down and pulled, snapped off. but if you break those pins they look to be removeable/replaceable so no worries. mine had no 3m tape, just those clips and push screws
