Hahah right right.
Well all my shit is looks. Rims, paint, lamin-x film, pvo spoiler, painted calipers, taillights, 8500K halogen lights, some other stuff

Theres really no hope in making my 3 speed auto fast, I was thinking about a SRT swap but not for another year or so..

So I guess I'll go with suspension. Lowering w/ a nice set of struts and springs. Sway bars, strut towers. Atleast when I get up to speed I'll be able to maintain it. :D

Does anyone that has any experience with strut towers notice a considerable difference?

i say ummmmm.... kyb struts with eibach sportlines for a low drop and pro kit for a not so low drop or if you want to spend extra money and the quality go with coilovers you can find these at modern. ummm maybe some sway bars but those arent really nesscary unless your going to hit turns at 60 mph :-P. but for suspension on a NA car im thinking just droping is really all you want to do. maybe get some suspension bushings etc....

^^^ i heard around here that the KYB's were bad w/ the sportlines. idk, i really want the sportlines, but i fear the drop will be TOO low.., the roads are pretty bad over here.., eh, idk.

KYB's are pretty much bad with anything other than stock. I've had them and they got bouncy real quick.

Ahhh I keep hearing this KYB talk. They are basically OEM replacements! They do not go well at all with a drop!

No, I don't notice anything really. Looks good though and helps the uppermounts on a lowered suspension... I think Grambo was saying if you lower a car without a strut bar it can eff up your upper mount welds or something.

I noticed my car got a bit stiffer when turning super hard, but other than that, maybe like a 10% decrease in body roll, thats about it. theyre worth it tho, cuz theyre kinda like backup braces for your other suspension components. Just like bolt on mods need a cam or some fuel tuning to truly shine, the same goes for the STB's in my opinion. I say spend money on good quality suspension gear, then save for an srt swap. your car will be one badass mofo if u ask me.

Hrm.... :? 31K miles on my KYB's with Dropzone springs. Still ride like they did when they were new. Maybe I got freak super duper model's. But seriously, I have heard people complain about their KYB's. My experience just doesn't comply with that.

If you want some high-quality suspension you should look at KW. I don't know how they are doing in the States since it's a german manufacturer but I think you can't get any better than that. It is the nr1 brand in Europe and I have paid a visit to the factory and can honestly say it's super quality stuff.

KW is good from what Ive heard. Its what I wanted for my neon, but they only sell it here rebranded as MOPAR and I didnt want it then. I know that sounds picky, but it wasnt the same to me.

JAQUIE! Your sig is freaking awesome!

Back on topic now, I think you should do more looks, since that is what you are already going for. For drop, I suggest just get some coilovers - I think riddler has some for sale now for 300 which need some work. You could always go with 1st gen rt or acr springs to lower too.

BUT - if it were me, I would do this: Performance Valve Body: Since you have the 3 speed atx.

Why not do some GO instead of show? Maybe a Magnum head swap? intake? Header?

If you wanted to do some strut tower bars, get the ones on Modern, cheap and do the job - I seriously doubt you will be doing some massive autox in your car??

The valve body just firms the shifts under hard acceleration. Now if you want quicker acceleration you will also need a high stall torque converter.
