Post by opyr8yr » Fri Sep 22, 2006 9:55 pm

Anyone know how to install these? I'm sure it's quite simple but a how-to would be nice :)

Thanks in advance

Step 1 : Toss in garbage.

Step 2 : Well, I guess you're done ;)

Gee uh thanks...

Maybe you don't like them but I want to hook them up to my alarm as a further visual deterrent, I could care less whether they are on or not while I drive, the chrome look is nicer than the current black ones too.

So, anyone know which wire on my alarm I would hook them upto?

depends what kind of alarm you have. if the alarm has a seperate led.... then just splice into it.

if you just want them for a visual, i would rather get regular l.e.d. bulbs and place them in the headlights (like sully did). and toss those nozzle ones in the garbage :D

Ok, not to be "disrespectful" but....
I am pretty sure a theif is NOT going to see the LED washer nozles lighting up with the alarm and say to himself."Wow, maybe I shouldn't fuck with this guys car. He must have some hook ups or something for an alarm this good."

This is just a hypothesis though.
Justin- I have nothing but smart ass remarks to add.

Ok seriously people...let's not get too rough. Different strokes for different folks. IF he wants to do it let him know how he can or someone that can help him out and if you have a different idea then just say it. I don't understand why we have to beat a dead horse sometimes.

look at it in the eyes of a theif, its a neon, its easy to break into, and if he gets caught, he was only breaking into a neon

You just take out the regular nozzles with pliers, and put those in. Then just wire it to a 12v power source.

My personal oppinion is yes toss them in the trash.

But back to your orriginal question. Check to make sure that you alarm will support the power that both LED'S will draw off it then just wire them in place of the LED your alarm comes with. +to + and - to -. Its realy that easy.
