Warped turbo manifold cause longer spool time?

Post by ctneon99 » Sun Sep 24, 2006 4:04 pm

I have a r/t with a 60 trim with a warped manifold, would that cause the turbo to start spooling up around 4200k? Or is that just normal for that turbo? Will a new manifold mae it spool quicker?

Yes, a warped manifold can make a difference in spool time. I'd say find your friendly neighborhood machinest and get that fixed.
