Car shut off twice in two weeks while driving
Alright, I have some weird shiat happening here.
First, last week i was driving, and all of a sudden i lost all power, car shut off. as i was coasting down the highway to pull over, the power comes back on again after about 10 seconds. Cranked the car, started no problem.
Then just today, i flashed my hi's at a car to let him know he can turn before me, and i lost all power again, for 2 seconds. Power came back on, and i started it up.
Ya so...... WTF??
P.S. About a two months ago i get into my car, and had no power when trying to start the car, but the dash lights were flickering, dome light, and parking lights as well. Then i turned my lights on, and everything went to normal, had power, and started the car no problem.
FTLOG, help

And yes, the loose cable is a likely culprit too. When I changed my battery, I actually dropped, and subsequently lost, the nut that secured the bolt (doh!). For a while I went with a tad smaller nut (which also stripped the bolt), but during that time, there were occasions when the cable would become loose. Thus, the car wouldn't start--even though I had a new battery. Once that was rectified, however, no problems
