And im sitting here, watching the snow fall and wondering why I cant sleep.

I have enough pills and alcohol in me to make me sleep, and yet, I sit here.

I dont feel excited about that new chick I gotta talk to (oddly), but Im not depressed either. What a strange feeling this is.

Who else feels weird, or crappy at this hour? Give me something to read. The intraweb sucks after youve been to the end and back.

Just be yourself.. If she likes YOU, let her like you.. Not someone else your pretending to be.. Trust me, you will avoid plenty of fights and hassle. Start small, ask her to join for a drink, play pool... Next go on a real date, movies, dinner.. Take it from there.

What she look like....? Might as well tell us...

yea brian, like Dj said, just be yourself and start out with just a drink and talking over billiards or mini-golf or something your bad at. try to suck at whatever it is your doing and let her win, and kinda make fun of yourself in a joking way because of it. she might find it charming... at least that's been my experience, cause that's how i am by nature.

Now Jason is really going to tell me to STFU, but youre right, might as well.

Well, shes average height, maybe 5'3"ish, and Id be suprized if she weighed anything over 120lbs. Shes got long blonde hair with like black streaks on the bottom layer. Her hair goes to kinda between the bottom of her shoulder blades, and the top of her ass. And what a nice ass it is too. Shes also like the 3rd girl Ive ever met to actually look good with a peirced nose and eyebrow. Oh, and shes got a really soft voice.

Im planning to go talk to her tomorrow evening. She works at a resturant as a hostess. Im just going to go up and talk to her for a lil bit (since she will be working, I dont want to bother her too much), and ask if I might be able to call her sometime. I hear I have a 50/50 chance of freaking her out, or flattering her. I figure, I have nothing to loose, and possibly something to gain. Being that I just came out of a long term relationship, Im not fishing for a relpacement, so much as Id just like to meet someone new, someone to talk to and spend time with, someone female. The old sausage fests are fun, but I do miss a nice female voice to listen to.

ooohh, so wait, does she know who you are? You mentioned she is a hostess... Does she know your name, do you go to her place alot. When you last saw her was there a funny vibe in the air comming from her.. If she looks as hot as you say she looks, she gets asked that question all the time.. She might have to say NO just because she is working.. You need to catch her alone. Make sure you don't ask with a line of people waiting to be seated behind you. Guys jump in on this one.. I havent been there a lot. But we exchanged looks quite a few times when I was there last. And she did bring my a lot of water (what I was drinking) even when I didnt need more, and that wasnt really her job. (I was there with my family, for my dads birthday, if I was there myself, I would have talked to her then, damnit)

Im plannin on going up early, she opens at 5 and there arent many people there then, Id like to catch her alone, but I dont wanna be a stalker either, cuz like you said, she probably gets that sorta thing a lot.

Sounds like a plan.. If she was being way too nice.. I say you might have a good shot at it.. Have her sit you down and while you are at the table ask her.. Ask her her name first.. Better to know a persons name before you ask them out...

Im hoping for the best, but even if it doesnt happen, I figure im no worse off. This is my first shot at this sorta thing in 5 years. Its a step forward, no matter what happens.

Being that you don't know her name.. Maybe waiting till the next time, might be a better plan. Go tonight ask her her name, do your ting and kepp making eye contact with her. Come back the next day and then ask her out.. What ever you do, make sure she sees you or thinks of you the whole time your there. A look, a question, a comment.. Some places have comment cards.. Fill one out concerning her....

Ive thought of that too... Damn the thinking. I should have just done it last week.

One thing I just thought of, is that while this place she works does get really busy in the evenings, its usually people like me, who live an hour away, but are older. The town is a pretty small town, and really, how many people my age even want to go to a place that only has steak and seafood, and costs $20+ a plate + everything else?

Well, it was quite an evening tonight. Luckily I dont think Ill need a new wheel, The one I have is just a lil fucked up looking. But if I dont have to spend the money, I wont. I got more important things to spend money on.

Im also sitting here listening to eminem. Pretty random eh? I havent gotten these CDs out in a while.

Whats new in the world of rap anyway? Its been a long time since I listened to it, and theres no good radio stations around here. (yea, i dont have satalite yet)

Ill explain the wheel thing, and how it goes when I get home tonight. I dont plan on being out too late anyway, since shes working, though I gotta stop by and tell a couple people about how it goes too.

My first time out in the world in 5 years, im nervous as hell, but looking forward to it. And im sportin my dads 05 F150 tonight too, (dont trust the neon after lastnight, and a lowered neon with summer tires doesnt like the snow as much as a 4wd truck, heh)

Ok, Now that Im home, Ill explain things...

First the wheel. I was comming home lastnight, and taking the curve onto the freeway onramp prety quick like always. But this time a huge ass dog ran out in front of me. I had to pick if I wanted to hit the dog head on, put the car into a ditch, or take my chances with the curb. I picked the curb. I was turning right, so I punched the gas and cranked the wheel, so I would understeer it and slide the front of the car around the dog. Well, I was sucsesful, but the road was about a foot too narrow. I hit the drivers side front wheel on the curb (like a 45 degree curb, so it could have been worse), it threw the drivers side rear into the curb and popped the bead. and spun the ass of the car around. I pulled the ebrake to bring it back straight so it wouldnt slide into the ditch on the OTHER side, and stopped. It drives fine, but the steering wheel is off center, and it rashed the fuck out of the wheel the bead popped off. I got the tire reseated and it seems to be doing fine. Going to the shop for an alignment Friday.

Now on to what Im sure 3 people are interested in knowing.

Her name is Shelah. And I am sportin a lil peice of paper with her number on it.

BUT, it didnt work at ALL like I had planned. I drove up there (an hour and 20min or so), got there, and had myself so calmed and relaxed by the time I walked into the place, that I had almost forgotten why I was there. But then I saw her. I saw her walk though the back, as hot as ever. But a different girl came to the front. (since they seat you). I actually asked for, whom Ill now call by name, Shelah. She said that I had actually JUST missed her, and that she actually doesnt work there anymore. She just quit. Then she asked why. I told her the truth, that I just thought I might talk to her, and maybe ask her for her number. Her friend smiled, and said "Oooh, hang on" Then she disappeared for a few minutes. She came back out with her address book, and wrote Shelahs number down and while she was writting, she smiled and shook her head and just said "Shelah"... and she gave it to me, and told me to call her. Somewhere in there she mentioned that Shelahs sister works there still, and I found that was the girl who was kinda popping her head around the corner to look at me. I thanked her, and she said to have a great evening, smiled toward her sister, and I left.

So now I not only know her name, I have her number, but this brings a whole different situation. WTF do I say? I dont know. I thought about calling tomorrow evening, and just bullshitting with her. That way its early enough, I might be able to arrange something to meet up this weekend before she makes other plans. Im telling myself that its a good sign, her friend and her sister being how they were. Makes me wish I knew more girls, to ask their opinion of the situation.

Hmmm.. that does present a problem seeing as how she probably doesn't remember you from the week before and if you called whacha gonna say "Hi... umm... i'm the guy that was stareing a hole in you the week before, I got your number, now tell me where you LIVE!!! mwahahah *evil laugh*"... yeah probably woudlnt' fly to well and she'd freak out like most chicks would... hell most people would

. As we discussed on AIM, she probably already knows about you now since I bet her sister called her to tell her she gave her number to a stranger and to lock her doors when she gets into her car

... not really sure what to tell you about how to start the convo out, that is a good question..... I'd really have to think about that, or have something to drink of whatever is in fridge to relax myself THEN call mmm... Hard Mikes (or for you taking some sleeping pill since you dont' remember anything after taking them:lol:)...

I'll see if I can think up anything but I really wouldn't take my advice, hell I woudn't take my own advice since aparenly I'm really bad with women or something haha
