I hate how on most car forums I am on.. they are like LETS BOYCOTT IT... I guess admiting that I enjoyed a movie makes me a ricer? Or does it make me look less cool on the forum to say I watched it?

Meh I liked it..

It's a movie.. movies are fake...

I personally thought it was average. prob wont buy it. I actually enjoyed the first one more than the others. I just liked the atmosphere in that movie better than the others.

I also thought it was average. It was a good renter. I liked the other ones better. Mabye it is because I almost puked on myself when I saw a Fart can on a classic muscle car. I still feel a little sick to my stomach.

I missed that one
Still got to love that blown big block in that charger, even though its a dummy motor when he is racing it around the city, it's just bad ass to know you got all that power on demand, 4mpg...800+HP...

Yep it was on the mustang. You can put anything under the hood you want. I still want it to look like a classic Mustang. It did look good other than the fart can. i wonder if they really ran it with that motor in it. (in real life or was it just a prop with the motor)

The third one really doesnt matter that much. But the first to you should watch in order. I guess the last 30 seconds of the 3rd one matters a little.

It was okay. I wont buy it. Maybe Ill rent it months from now when we run out of movies to rent

I think the cars in this one were the best...minus the nasty green thing and a few others, but it still had its corny lines and that girl had a really odd smile. Her face looked like it would hurt.

they built like 10 or so of them, and yes, they actually had that motor in them. i read abotu the cars in a mag, and i saw somethign about them on tv, and they showed the car actually driving and everything, pretty fast too.

I dislike the movie(s) because I prefere a good, cohernt plot and good actng. :P Not because of the rice. I'v seen 1 and 2 on tbs (I think) late one night. I won't be viewing number 3 until it does so too, not that im eager to view it.

They only really built one with the motor in it, from the skyline, minus the twin turbo setup. It ran, but they couldn't get it right.. The actual "drift" car had a ginormous big block in it, and then they had a couple of bang up cars with smaller v-8's and maybe some 6's, saw it in Hot Rod mag. I wanna see the movie, maybe when I get paid.

I'm gonna go drift my 350 ram van now.

It may have drifted, but it didn't do any drifting at all in the movie.

Here's a link

Also, the spearco intercooler on the front is a dummy

Hot Rod Mag did test the skyline powered one:
On the test track, it plowed up to 60 mph in 5.38 seconds and cleared the quarter-mile in 13.36 seconds at 109.83 mph. And it did that with virtually no drama while sounding like a '52 GMC pickup that just had its rotted muffler fall off.
