Post by lvlistchif » Thu Sep 28, 2006 8:05 am

now idk much about the srt turbo but are you able hook up other turbos to the stock srt manifold if the turbo is the same size i just got a garrett turbo and it seems as if its the same size so if it is would it fit or do i need a new manifold? i heard your not supposed to seperate the srt turbo and manifold for some reason is any of this true?

The srt turbo doesn't attach to the manifold using a 4 bolt flange like other turbo's. AFAIK, these 2 pieces have to be used together.

This is correct the turbo connects to the manifold via a slip type joint and a vband clamp. Forget using another turbo. :(
