Street glow.... ? **Update**

Alright guys, quick question... Here at werk we had a car traded in that had the (red) LED street glow on it. Well, they let me keep it no charge. (ready for the flaming) Should I put it on my car? For those who havent seen my car... Its grey, mildy dropped, blacked out windows... Blah blah blah, all that other stock neon crap.

Anyways, I dont like rice... I'm a meat and potatoes kinda guy... But would this be over board? I'm not one of those people who plan on having it on while driving on the streets. Just every now and then.

LMK what ya'lls opinion is... All in all, I can put it on, and if it looks like shite, i can take it off.

I would do it. I thought about doing some but couldn't justify actualy spending money on some. But free, why not.

1.) your cars grey - don't do it
2.) your car is stock on the outside - don't do it
3.) if you don't like rice.... - don't do it

Just my opnion of it. Now, if you had like... a body kit or something among those lines, and maybe a black, red, or white car i'd be all for it.

^ Yeah, i had originally planned on some lite red accents, with grey black and carboon fiber.

I might just zip tie em up for now and post some pics, then see what ya'll think.

Dude, you obviously want to do it so just fuck everyone and do it. The word rice is misused and overused way to much and this is a nice mod even for a stock looking car. Id do it.

*shrugs* I like the term rice... It makes me laugh. I mean, come on, look how much blue glow-y shit I have in my car? Full LED wrap around underbodys, blue cluster/HVAC, 4 neons under seat and dash, leds in the sub box... it's crazy!

I have a lowered stock looking car, and blue undercar neon. I use it maybe once a month if that. But once in a while its kinda fun. Especially when my car is parked in someones backyard and is providing the music at a party or something.

I've had my LED undercar kit on since I bought the car... And only used them two or three times and it's always been at car shows. On a nicely modded car, underbody lights don't appear to be 'rice.'

i have a grey neon so i'd do it. but it would be better if you showed us pix of your car and someone could photoshop some red lights under your car. if you say it's slightly lowered then do it it would look sick.

I never said -I- knew how to color cordinate, I just said IMO.
I'm sorry, but I personally don't think stockish cars look good with underbody. My feelings are, it looks 10x's better on a lowered car, or one with a body kit.

And no... I -don't- have streetglow anywhere on my car. I have 54ft of 12v L.E.D rope light going all the way around. If it was streetglow, then it wouldn't go through my wheel wells.... and it would actually be the cobalt blue that I wanted in the first place.
