help with my deck

Post by SX_2.0_Monkey » Wed Oct 11, 2006 6:06 pm

I just put in my in dash dvd player and was wondering the "proper" ;) way to bypass the wire that goes to the transmition checking to see if its in park? when i do it according to the wiring diagram, it doesn't work. but when I put it to the dimmer switchit must be at the darkest setting. thanks in advance

Sorry to bring this post back to life, but could you tell what you did? I may be getting an in-dash dvd for Christmas. Thanks in advance.

damn, i didn't even see this before....

most of them have a wire that either must be grounded or supplied power... the color of the wire should tell you.
