Some people take theirs off but I've left mine on and it dosen't harm it. Sunlight does more harm to the hood if not made well and kept protected than the cold of winter. You should be fine leaving yours on, shouldn't hurt but taking it off wouldn't harm anything either as I have known people to do that just to be on the safe side if they spent a lot of money on it.

when i use to drive my car year around i would take everything off the front bumper the hood, rims , fenders, any thing that was fiber glass cause when it snows and ice it makes the road rough and if someone slides into you or you slide off the road into a ditch or a curb your not messing up your mods. thats just me...lol

Yeah, really. Not a bad idea unless you've got a cool insurance company that doesn't mind paying you for the extra coverage you may have opted in for for the mods you've done.

Yeah, take it off you live in Canada.. Ice might form a layer on your cf hood and it might scratch it up or something.

If it scratches your CF hood it's also going to scratch every other place that it formed on the rest of your car ;-) Will only scratch it if you move it or start chipping away at it.
