Aftermarket Power Windows

Post by 01DodgeGirl » Thu Oct 12, 2006 2:00 pm

I'm wanting to install aftermarket power windows in my car and I am also wanting to replace the door panels inside my car with the ones that have the chrome door handles and I was wondering could I use the door panels that had the power window switch and hook up the aftermarket switches to the panels. Would this work or do I need to go to a junkyard and find a neon that had power windows and pull everything out of it.

anything is possible, just depends how much work you want to put in....

i sell power window kits here on the forums, if you're really interested in going that route. you CAN use the stock switches, you CAN use aftermarket switches. just depends on what you want, and how much work your willing to put in(as stated above)...

I am glad that it is possible to do that. I think it looks clearner the stock way. The other question is about Power Door Locks. Will this work the same way as it will with the windows. I was also wanting to know if you can purchase a keyless entry kit from my dodge dealership and use the stock transmitter. Thanks for the help.

Does anyone know if I can use an aftermarket power window kit with a set of stock door panels with the power window switch built in to make it look stock. I would love to upgrade door panels with the power window and stuff like that. Please tell me if this is possible.
