Pictures of my new 2003 R/T in Solar Yellow

Post by danman132x » Fri Oct 13, 2006 5:47 pm

I bought this recently and have just taken pictures a few days ago just after washing it. Has 37XXX miles and I'm loving it. I know I'm going to get commented on the hood scoop, but it was on it when I bought the car. I want to remove it, but they used more than adhesive to put it on. The person used some sort of hard glue that a heat gun probably can't remove.

Everything you see in the pictures is how it was when I bought it...besides the Pioneer system. It was on e-bay until I bought it :) I drove over 6 hours to pick it up in Bradenburg, FL. So only 1420 2003 R/T's were made, or is that all R/T's 2gn ever made?

De-badge, re-spray interior, and buy my stock yellow hood to get rid of that damn hood scoop.

Otherwise, nice car!

I like most of it!

Here's what I don't like:
The R/T emblem on the trunk, the yellow dots on the wheels, and the hood scoop.

Hood scoop's easily repairable with a new carbon fiber hood. :-D Then you can lose the R/T emblem on the trunk by getting a carbon fiber trunk! Then... She'd look perfect (In my opinion).

And, no, I can't buy the carbon fiber stuff for you. :P

I agree...except the yellow calipers can stay, since thats what i did! Get it lowered and it will look 10x better...

my small, relatively in-expensive mod list:

1.) Lower it
2.) Mopar Lip Kit
3.) Clear corners and those stealth turn signal bulbs for up front (titanium?)
4.) Re-paint the middle vents black, keep the outside ones yellow

I would like the hoodscoop if it were moulded in and functional.

Other than that, nice ride man! Plans?

I have plenty of plans for it, but they are going to be carried out as funds allow. I already tinted the windows (front two 25% and 3 rear windows 15%), and ordered some clear corners. I need to find a place that sells titanium bulbs (modernPerformace?). Already has AEM intake, motor mount inserts, Vibrant strut bar, screaming demon coil pack, MSD wires. I want to install a catch can, underdrive pulley, long tube header, carbon fiber hood, SRT front bumper, and a few more things.
