ACR I know, so I will try to post what I do know, here.

24 way adjustable dampening suspension
150hp/135trq HO 2.0L I4
2626 lbs
leather wrapped steering wheel and shifter knob/boot
lumbar support seats
15" Aluminum Wheels (Snowflakes, they are called in the Neons world)
4 wheel ABS disc brakes
Dual tip exhaust
front lip/fascia w/o fog lights
power locks
Dash with RPM and 140mph cluster
18:1 steering ratio
traction control
dual front airbags
no side body moulding
19mm rear, 22mm front sways

Some came with a convientient package that had: AM/FM Cassette, AC, Sentry Alarm, lighted rear-view mirror

The RT has all of the above except the adjustable suspension which is replaced with a sport suspension, both have 19mm rear ands 22mm front sways, and the RT also adds leather, locks, windows (power), ground effects and a spoiler, 16in rims and it is about 100lbs heavier.

Not all R/T's have leather unfortunately.

Mine also has a sunroof.

A couple of minor corrections:

ACR's have the "firm power" 18:1 steering rack.

ACR's did not come with power windows, or at least the 2001 models did not.

My 2002 did not come with power windows either. The steering rack is alot of things people over look.

^^^ ratio of turns on the stearing wheel to turns of the front wheels. 18 revolutions of the steering wheel for 1 revolution of the front wheels.

R/T and ACR have the same steering rack.

It's also a low-boost unit, so it feels firmer. In other words, there's less power assist in the steering, to give you more of a feel for the steering.

If RT and ACR have same steering rack, then they have same steering ratio??? - 16:1

Also, I fixed my post above, the power windows is supposed to be power locks

all 2gns have the same steering ratio, 18:1 . the r/t's and acr's got the "firm feel" steering

1st gen r/t's and acr's had 16:1 power steering. standard power steering was 18:1, and manual steering was 22:1.

Competition Suspension
The Competition suspension package is only available on ACR Neons, and is even more fully developed than the first generation ACR. Foremost in the design are double-adjustable struts with a wide range of stiffness for both rebound and compression. Compression/rebound are adjusted together rather than separately; but this is an improvement over the later first-generation ACR Konis in which compression was not adjustable at all. The Competition struts are inverted in design, meaning the hydraulics are at the top of the strut, for increased strength and resistance to lateral loading. They adjust from below rather than above. These excellent pieces are manufactured in the UK by Dynamic Suspensions, and are similar to the struts used in the popular British Touring Car series racecars. Spring rates are the same as the Sport package, as are the front and rear stabilizer bars. The Competition package also includes the low-boost "firm feel" power steering.
The struts have six full turns of the adjustment knob. To adjust damping, turn the knob clockwise until strut damping is at full hard, then turn the knob counter-clockwise to the desired number of detent clicks. 24 clicks down is considered full soft. The detents may not be noticeable, painting hash marks on the knobs and counting the rotations would be more accurate.

Sport Suspension
The Sport suspension package uses the same design Tokico struts as the Touring suspension; however, the struts are valved for somewhat stiffer response. Roll stiffness is increased as well with a heavier front sway bar and the addition of a rear sway bar (again similar to the first generation car). This package comes standard on the R/T, and is included on both SE and ES Neons when equipped with the optional Sports Appearance Package. The Sport package has the same steering ratio as the Touring setup, but with less power-assist boost for better road feel.

Touring Suspension
Like its predecessor, the Touring suspension (SDC) package is standard on most Neons. It is used on all SE/LE, ES/LX, and SXT/Sport Neons unless they have the Sport Appearance Package. This is the softest setup, but still offers good handling capabilities. Slightly higher center of gravity and slightly softer struts with more travel mean that the second generation car does not handle quite as crisply, but certainly rides better than the original.

huh - the website I got my info from was wrong - checked the faq on neons.org and behold, it said 18:1 also.

I believe he's correct actually, except that the front wheels cannot turn completely around for a full revolution, more like 1/6 of one revolution, or roughly 3 turns for maximum crank.

let me rephrase that. if you could turn your steering wheel 18 times, your wheels could make one revolution. i thought that basic common sense and observation as a neon owner and car driver would indicate that the steering wheel cannot be turned 18 times and the front wheels cannot turn one full revolution.

but maybe i overestimated some peoples ability to comprehend that

in other words. for every 18 degrees you rotate the steering wheel, the front wheels rotate 1 degree.
