Anyone here good with LCD's ?

I picked up a rear seat dvd setup from work(free)
Its is for an 05 caravan...
Needless to say I grabbed it for the option of being able to use the lcd out of the unit.
Ive got it totally torn apart and spent some time figuring out the wiring...
The LCD is a Sharp LQ070T5CRQ1 unit...7" lcd for wide screen play...
The controller card that mounts on the back is:PWB10827....
The power inverter is only used to convert the 12v power to 4.5-5volts so thats no biggy...
My question is:
Is there another controller card that I can use with this lcd since I'm pretty sure the one I have is bad(hence the dvd unit being warrantied)
I figured out the wiring to the controller card with no problem....
yellow - pin 10 - 5v+
brown - pin 8 - ground
purple - pin 4 - signal to dvd player to play
black - pin 3 - negative video
red - pin 2 - positive video
open wire - pin 1 - shielding
Any one have any ideas let me know...thanks....

Maybe the company that made the LCD unit sells replacment parts?

I emailed them, but according to the info I could find its an 01 model unit thats not available anymore. Hence DCx getting it cheap and making a major mark up...
Im going to post this LCD setup in the forum for sale since its useless to mee without any further eletrical diagnosis....
